Abstract

The paper considers a fifth-order singular differential equation with variable coefficients. It studies a new degenerate case with faster-growing intermediate coefficients and a non-sign-definite potential. Sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the generalized solution are obtained, along with a coercive estimate.
